that looks familiar to another that goes boom.
the big fet is shorted, the cap is under-rated, the fuseable resistor is burned.
the fuse may be toast and probably some of the driver circuit will be burned.

desolder the cap, the area they print on is still there.

you need a lot more than a 2KV ceramic cap.

This is the threads that stj referenced, please read these before you consider repairing this PSU:

                Hello dmartins

I found this plane, the C125 indicates that it is 0.01uf x 500V.

If that value is applicable to your power source, check the diagram to see if it corresponds to the physical source of your power.

We remain attentive to your comments and success with your repair.

                Greetings.

if that's true they need to be sued - it should be 2KV rated.
anything less is an intentional suicide-design.

Looks like the snubber cap for the primary-side winding.

I agree that 500V is too low. But I've also seen other power supplies get along just fine with 1 KV -rated cap. However, those were with a more "classic" RCD (resistor-capacitor-diode) snubber design and not this one... which I've only seen something similar in a PowMax LP-6100 series of PSUs - and it wasn't uncommon for those to blow a primary switching MOSFET. So makes me wonder if HiPro seriously messed up on the design here and if converting this PSU back to a more "normal" RCD design would be possible.
