DV9500 blue LED ring of death ?

Guys,

Does anyone of you know on the solution for DV9500 blue LED ring of death ?
I can see only blue LED on power connector, no response on button on switch LED and others LED...

you should do a reflow of GPU

flux and reflow the GPU and that will help? so it has a solder crack on its GPU ?

I've reflown it and it's still not working, I suspect it's because of blowing diode near to the power supply input, I don't know what's the type, please have a look from the capture, thanks

That information would be on the schematic. Which motherboard does it have? Take a picture of the labels. They are usually on/near the memory slots.

Yes, that is the schematic. I know that is near the DC jack and the battery connector, so that might be the correct schematic page.

It doesn't look like it has a label next to the component on the board. But it's in a block labeled [D]. So that block of labels must be written nearby somewhere.

After looking carefully at how the traces connect in your pictures, I think those diodes are probably PD15 and PD16. They are both CH501H schottky diodes.

I think you're right....it's connected to CN17 positive side...

Oh and the datasheet says the marking is "JS" so that matches also.

I reckon, it can be replaced with 1N4007 ....

I wouldn't usually replace a schottky diode with a regular p-n diode. The regular diode has a higher voltage drop and a slower reverse recovery time. I don't think it's too important in that circuit though.
