    GA-K8NF-9, should I bother re capping?

    I have just noticed my oldGA-K8NF-9 has bulging caps.. Should I bother re capping it or just bin it? It is still running just fine... so far
    E8400 8G Kingston PC6400 RAM
    GA-EP35-DS3R mobo
    HD4850 512M GA, 2x 1T WD SATA drives
    CoolerMaster case/Seasonic 850w PSU

    I say go for it as long as it has easy to find cap values. I looked up the specs on that motherboard and it still is relevent to todays technology. Just remember, if you're gonna do it, change all of em.

      Or sell it to me - need a S939 board to see if a couple of processors I have are working
      better to keep quiet and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

        Hmm... I have been using it to run BOINC and web access for the kids but with a couple iMacs in the house it's days ARE numbered...

        Tossing up whether or not I should repair and sell or just sell it as is....

        I'll take a closer look at the values and then decide....
