Ok this is a EC backup, I think the problem is Ec because the component is powered while the chip bios is not

Is your motherboard switching?? Ec bios chip may be powered on only after laptop turning on.

The problem with this board is that no signs of life do not illuminate the led near the power connector, but the U301 chip has 3v. while U4701 bios chip is not powered

I have a bios and ec for BID01966 .If you don`t know your bid number,post your bios .

Ok ,check why the U4701 bios chip is not powered. Schematic and boardview attatched .

I checked and on page is the affected area, the supply voltage of the U4701 bios component is indicated as P3V3A while that of Ec U301 is P3V3A. The source of P3V3A is Q7003 which is not powered but before there is still U6100 which has not shown pinout. He could be the culprit

Try this bios and EC .

Works well.

Didn't notice it was for envy 15 so I used it on envy 17. It works but it's just strange to see HP envy 15 written in BIOS
