    Sharp led strips

I have a new to me sharp 70in that I replaced main board on it and picture looks great. When I first turn it on and the screen is black with just backlight on I see about 6 leds that have more of a spot light effect. I think the pic looks fine but wanted to order some strips for future use. Is there anyway to find out what part number strips are in it without disassembly? Thanks Michael

    Re: Sharp led strips

You didn't include model number, a quick guess would be if it's a led backlit tv, maybe some of the lenses have fallen off and need to be glued back on. If that is the case observe how the others are positioned and glue them back on in the same position.

Boy that bites, it's already mounted above the fire place. I wonder if Sharp would tell me part number by tv model. I didn't hear anything moving around in there while working on it. I will try to get a pic tomorrow and post.

It doesn't take much to get the halo/spotlight effect, just a small misalignment, had a good thread on it not long ago, see if I can find it.

Look like these don't have the normal round lens.

                Re: Sharp led strips

According to the manual this panel uses 3 backlight strips along the bottom of the panel, any light spots around the edge is likely the lcd panel at fault
