dose anyone know who made these caps?

    hello
i have a quick question do you know who made these caps
    brand: T.I.
    number of caps: 2
    specs for cap 1: 330uf 35v 105c no vent
specs for cap 2:2200uf 35v 85c no vent
now i've seen some in a old pinball machine [the only difference being that all of them had vents]
here are some photos of them to [probably] help you
note: i do know that there is a dent in the 330uf cap
    side view

    top view

now i do have others that i do not who made them [like USI, A ce, and a few others] and i don't know if they are good for custom projects
    thank you

They look extra old, like 10-30 years old. The metal on the leads isn't up to today's standards, most can tell by looking at it and it also looks to be worn. The outer casing also looks to be an older clear style that is tinted and that solid blue color is usually only seen today on Su'Scon, ANODIA, and Rubycon, if I can remember correctly.

ok that's interesting, i thought that they could be over 20-30 years old.

They certainly can be, and they damn well look it too! I would go on eBay and grab one of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Digital-LED-...gAAOSwB4NWzsVp

It'll be close to accurate, probably within a 1-3uF at high value capacitors, so you'll be fine for measuring those.

I have one like it that's fairly accurate.

EDIT: Testing the 2200uf one it tests at.
          2252UF
          0.19ESR
          1.2Vloss

          The 330uf one tests at.
          450.1UF
0.19ESR [i may need to recondition [reform] the cap]

The first thought i've got , they could be some old "Texas Instruments" variety , as it was a pioneer in technology , like Integrated circuits and Transistors .

If you can affirm what were the Pinball labels you've seen them in , maybe we can identify more ..

Same, i thought for a while that the T.I. caps were specially made for Texas Instruments tho when i saw them in a pinball machine i kinda started to question if they were.

In case you need to know here's some info about the pinball machine.
              Year: 1990
              Brand: williams

I saw some of these caps on a video card from 1997 (STB Nitro 3D).

I did not know these caps we're used in video cards.

Half way there Mr. Ruky con , half way there .. The more i dig , the more i'm convinced it is Texas Instruments . The Two companies are Americans , very old rooted and deep into business with lot of assorted sub companies . WMS or Williams Nevada is only 1500 miles from Texas Austin .
Pinball business goes back to the Sixties , so i think it was obvious WMS will call the Texas Instruments another rooted old company with its acclaimed international reputation ..

That was the half way ... The other half will probably give more affirmation , when i see one of my friends , the biggest importer of Entertainment machines in Lebanon . I do lot of his repairs including those Midway's Fast and Furious Drift and NFS Carbon . Oops , i remembered now he promised me one vintage Sheriff Pinball , lol , so looking to see him in a week or so ..

I wouldn't trust capacitors that old as they have a finite life. As they age, the chemistry changes so I suggest tossing them and buying new.

I still find them cool to have.

And i have loads of old capacitors... [like NCC SM, RX. Nichicon PL. Marcon. And others.]

                                  Old Matsushita [panasonic] capacitors?

I'm pretty sure that brown stuff is glue.

That brown stuff looks like the glue that often was used on pre-2006 PSUs...

Boy, they seemed to love using that kind of stuff during the socket-462 and socket-478 era!
