    Desk ESR meter

    Hi all,

Just wanna ask one thing: Are such devices like in the link able to measure precisely (or at all) correct values from the caps soldered onto the motherboard, so called in-circuit measurement?

      Re: Desk ESR meter

its sometimes tricky to test in circuit.
caps in paralel with others or mlcc's can fool you.

          Try this link
          http://www.peakelec.co.uk/acatalog/jz_esr70.html
You get the warranty with it too
          I have the ESR60
But as kc has said there is a lot of caps that wont give readings in circuit
