A hidden bottleneck
In a Kogan KAWRTACBLKA Wireless-AC router, despite the wired LAN ports supporting Gigabit capability (RTL8367 Gigabit switch), I found that the RTL8197D Ethernet Router Network Processor has no Gigabit support on the wired LAN ports, only Fast Ethernet support - because of this bottleneck, you would not get the full benefit of simultaneous dual-band operation.
This is a hidden catch for buyers of low-cost Wireless-AC networking equipment.
