    Advent 5611 capacitor issue

    Hi,
I got a Advent 5611 laptop to prepare it properly for a donation. With the heat-conductive paste change, I have noticed an ELCON 6,3V, 220microF capacitor in a strange, slightly inflated state at the top and the plastic cover altered. I can not figure out how this condition could influence and I would like to know if I can replace it.
I did not find the specifications to find its equivalent, and I would like some help.
    Maybe a solid capacitor ?

Replacing an inflated capacitor is recommended if you got enough soldering skills. A solid capacitor is a good candidate for this replacement. but this capacitor is not very inflated.
If the capacitor is SMD, its soldering will be difficult, because there is no free space around it.

What worries me more is the plastic label that's not straight, usually a sign of overheating which will make the capacitor degrade much faster. An electrolytic capacitor is a very, very poor choice here and is a design issue in itself…

          That's what I thought.
So, what replacement would be the best for ELCON 6,3V, 220uF, EHZ, preferably solid capacitor?
I found these specs, but not EZH:

I do the repair, the capacitor isn't SMD, so it's not a problem.

you can replace it with 220uf ,6.3v smd capacitor and you can find them plenty on scrap mb's

                Re: Advent 5611 capacitor issue

I found a capacitor marked with red colour/fonts.
                FP
                9YAF
                221
                6.3V
Seems to be a low ESR Fujitsu (or Nichicon ) capacitor, but I'm not sure about the values of the replaced capacitor, like ESR and ripple.

My capacitor seems to be one Samcon of 220uF, 6.3V, dxh=8x7, Impedance=0.09ohm, Rated Ripple=576: https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...2bb01fcdde.pdf

I was so upset that I did not know what decision to take
