    Hantek scopemeter

Unfortunately I have damgaged channel 1 on this scope ,I was hoping the maker would supply me with the circuit for the Y amplifier ,but they wont play ball.
I think I have found the fault ,after the input circuits there is a dual JFET in a 8 pin SM package and this has blown. I have managed to remove this and and I going to try a couple of BF244 fets to see if the amplifier now works .
Has any body got a simliar circuit that uses a SST5912 dual Jfet ? It could be a cascode design ,I think Pico scopes use this device .
Also I need to find a replacement SST 5912LF ,does any body know where I can get hold of one ?

    thanks

For the last one look at 2N5912 and see if that's right.

If it is there are some on eBay. [Tripped over it, wasn't really looking.]

BF244 aren't too tough to find unless you have a thing about using the original brand.

Yes I saw the 2N5912 on ebay its in a metal can ,the one i removed was SM 8 pin ,so suppose it should work if i could fit it.
Found a scope circuit that uses 2x BF556A JFETS ,that might be a possibility.
The scope itself is very nice ,good display one channel defunt .One thing i did not realise when i bought it was the DVM is seperate to the scope with different leads. Not like the Philips PM97 which all works from the BNC input ,I dont really use the DVM side anyway so not too fussed about this.
I will let you know how I get on with the fix, took some pickies so I will try and figure out the circuit from them ,and took voltage readings on channel 2.
