I have a linksys router that me and my friend were trying to use for internet sharing when he brought his computer over. I shared my internet connection to his computer over the router, I tried plugging into port1, him in port 2, but it wouldn't work. So I plugged him into port 1, me into the WAN port, what do you know! It worked. Kind of. It would work for about 5 minutes, then the router would crash, and reset itself. It already has the latest firmware, and it works just fine when no ones plugged into the WAN port.
