Hy all i have a laptop model : dell 13-7359 - p57g002 2in1 with touch screen in service and i manage to make his bios , i don't find it anywhere , i will share the program that i find for extracting the Dell Bios from an exe file and the bios , for editing the bios i use HXD Editor and Intel (R) Flash Image Tool. Version: 11.8.79.3722 - for spliting the bios in 2 parts 8mb and 4 mb , i hope will help someone , thank you all .Comment

hi every one, i get a question about the files posted here, if i have a one dell 13 7359 but dont work the touchscreen, i mean, the SO is W10 and i has update the drivers and BIOS and can't make to work the touchscreen. When i turn on the computer and i enter to BIOS for run a diagnostic, the touchscreen not work. I think what the touchscreen would have to work in the BIOS because is native rigth? so.. i can use this files to update the BIOS?Comment

Bios is working
but problem is nearly same as before
when i add service tag in bios setup and reset the pc, it again require serice tag

I’m working on a Dell PowerEdge R340 (Service Tag: JTMLKB2).
The iDRAC is bricked — system hangs at “iDRAC initializing,” fans at 100%, and no VGA output.
The cause is a bad firmware flash to the iDRAC SPI.
Board details:
- Model: Dell PowerEdge R340 (14G)
- iDRAC version: iDRAC9
- Flash chip: Winbond 25Q032 (32 Mbit / 4 MB)
- Location: iDRAC EEPROM near the BMC (ASPEED AST chip)
- Tool used: CH341A programmer

My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?
Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?
My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.

I am awaiting on a CH341 programmer and a WSON 6x5 probe to dump the flash of a Dell 7320 8FC8 with Winbond 25R256JVEN chip, in the meantime I'd like to get things ready in order to maximise my chances of success. I have seen a few tools around, NeoProgrammer, Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit, CH341A Programmer, Flashrom to name some. Which one is the most recommended/suitable for this kid of application? The only one that seems to have support is NeoProgrammer New Update V2.2.0.10.

Hello everyone,
I need the EC firmware dump for Dell Latitude 5420, motherboard GDF40 LA-K491P Rev 3.0 (A02).
The embedded controller is MEC5107-LJ (UE1).
The EC flash chip is W25Q80DV, 8Mbit (1MB).
I already have the 32MB BIOS dump (W25Q256JV), but my system is still not powering on — just amber blink. I suspect the EC firmware is missing or corrupted.
If anyone has this board and can share their EC dump from the 25Q80DV, I’d be very grateful.

but they are not the same size as the one saved feom the bios chip.
