This model looks very similar to UN58H5202Af (1 year older) where bad backlights take out a FET.

Check Q9101? (similar location) for shorts.

Any other suggestions on what to test to track down the failed component(s) in this power supply? Would love the satisfaction of fixing it "myself" but I guess will have to go buy a new TV if I don't have this solved in the next few weeks. Suggestions appreciated.

Hi,

We're you able to determine the part number for QM801 and 802CS MOSFETS?
I have a set that these MOSFETS failed and burnt so I can't see the part numbers.
