I have a the same laptop here but my problem seems a little different, when i plug in the adapter the kbc chip starts to heat up and laptop wont power on but the AC led i will be on, i was thinking it is the nouvoton chip.

I'm searching IRF8707 but i didn't found it in my zone. Someone could you suggest me some "common" equivalent? I attach the datasheet.

hi for all.
i try to repair toshiba c855-10j.
the laptop not turn on,only white led its flashing,on the motherboard mosfet F8707 its very very hot this fet is near GPU i mesure out of the bord and its ok.
do you belive my gpu is off?
if this mosfet is controll power gpu ?

It is near the coils of CPU VCORE POWER (probably you have a short on VCORE POWER rail). You need the boardview to find out, because without numbering printed on the board is just guesswork.
You can check for short (impendance) on pads 1,2,3 relative to ground.

my laptop is TOSHIBA satellite C855-10j part no PSKCCE-004005GE
and the motherbord on the sticker say H000050770.
if you know where i find schema or service manual pls tell me.

From pictures of the motherboard I can see that my assumption was wrong and the fet has to do probably with PCH power. For schematic and boardview have a look at https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=33101 to see if it is for your board.

Hi, I have a Toshiba notebook model PSKCCE-011002CZ (Toshiba Satellite C855-148), the fault is: notebook goes on, the fan spins, the hard disk is not rotating and there is no image on the screen. He could anyone help? Motheboard H000050770. Excuse my English.

this fet is power to gpu chipset, i take out pch chip (SLJ8E) and now the power is ok.
the mb have ac power led on have chg led on if i conect the battery.
do you belive if i replace this chip the motherbord work again?

If the short is gone probably the problem was with PCH.

hi. i have a motherboard plf/plr/csf/csr dsc. My problem is that pc look dead . no led blinking, even if the battery plugged is charged by another identical laptop. Gate and source of FDMC 8884 are shorted. can is it the cause? Thanks in advance
