you can view the waveform signal 20KHz within.............. i'll pass.
i will wait until they update bandwidth to 2MHZ or 20MHZ.

Yeah I don't get the point of that feature, its the sort of thing you can do with a laptop and free software using the sound card if I recall. Well assuming you have the aforementioned laptop, analogue scopes can be had very cheaply now as well.

the point of the feature is to see if the power is stable, or if it's being effected by something.
it's actually very good in some situations.

          Do you mean datalogging?

I would like to have my next meter with another future is data logging that's what I've been searching for a cheaper and easy to use one. Any suggestion?

          Datalogging with a Multimeter

            no, not logging.
if you put a standard meter on a car supply, it will say 12-14v
but if you put a meter with a waveform display you can see if the alternator is failing because you can see the dips between the 3 phases.

dc is not always a flat-line, even if you want it to be!

btw, i have a 22000count meter with a serial port - it's not the same thing.

This meter's waveform has 20KHZ bandwidth limitation. that means you cannot detect any high frequency noises it is good for low-frequency equipment like audio devices repair only. not even for switching power supply.

In other words it would show you that you one or more diodes failing which would be very helpful determining if that was causing your battery to drain over night

But in general the output of an alternator is very noisy to being with any way but the wave form output would be different

                  sort-of,
the alternator is a rectified (but not smoothed) 3phase generator.
the dips in the output should be evenly spaced, if not then a diode or winding may be bad.
