Toshiba LED TV 40L1333b sound no picture

Hey guys. This is my first post, so please be gentle! My Toshiba 40L1333b LED TV has sound but no picture. I used a flashlight in the dark and the picture is barely visible. It's about 1 year old.

Can we get good clear and focused pictures of both sides of the power supply board?

Please provide the focused straight shot of both sides of the board, I need to be able to trace the connection and clearly see the components and traces, thanks!

Vestel design set, not made by Toshiba. What's the part # on the power board? (17PW... or 17IPS... usually)

So lads. I've never opened up a TV before so schematics and the like is pretty much double Dutch to me! In layman terms what's the problem and can it be fixed?

Do you have a digital multimeter available to do some tests?

Perhaps you need to do some reading? There are more and more threads re led
tvs with no back light - weak point seems to be the led strings either burnt out
or a wire trapped and eventually shorting however it may not be a quick fix.
Try and learn some of the names of components on the board.
Pictures really are not clear enough- for trouble shooting they need to be clear enough for us to read the board part numbers

Common issue with these Panels is the little connector blocks that link the Led strings break down and fail so you need to bridge them over with solid wire and then test the Leds.

Hi guys, I have a Toshiba TV 40L1333B which powers up, the LED flashes and stays on green but screen is completely blank/black.
can you please advise how to repair this fault.

Maybe follow the thread, and watch the video I linked. Common issue with that chassis is the connections between the Leds breaking down causing no backlight.

I have the same tv and same issue, having watched your video i am going to try and test and see if it works tonight. Thanks for the info btw.
