    EMMC programming BGA 169 (ANDROID SOFTWARE)

    Hi,
    i have a problem with a device wich is not starting --> issue a damage on the Emmc 7 GB Micron flash. (see in pic 1)

    i have desolderd a healthy Emmc and the plan is to put in into my progamming device i try to make a Image of the whole Software on BGA.
    (see on pic2)

    Afterwards i want to burn a new EMMC Bga to resolder it on the device.

    I can read the media inside the healthy Emmc with linux reader software for win7 called diskinternals (see on pic 3) but even when i try to make an image with HDCLONE oder each other programm it stucks and the process cant finish.

    Somebody know something about the reason or another software which is able to download an image of that Emmc ??

    think about it.
    the reason the device wont run is because some data in the original chip is corrupt.
    your copying is freezing because it's trying to read the corrupt sectors/files

      the emmc (inside the porgrammer) wich i try to backup is desolderd from a working device wich was working fine.

        probably the program does not copy something, which the device needs to start with. What device / OS are you trying to copy?

          Maybee yes but why it does not work ? isnt it possible to image the whole emmc incl. bootfiles ect....??? it is also possible to make a img from a hdd (with windows)

          the emmc have 7 partions with android (linux) operating system but also a windows partion as u can see in the picture.

            Maybe complain to the software vendor and ask them?

              use the DD command in Linux.
