    5 beeps is a CMOS battery problem (real time clock failure). Try replacing the CMOS (coin cell) battery.

      hey guys,

      2 Beeps: Reseat the memory or replace the memory. ... 5 Beeps: Replace the CMOS battery. 6 Beeps: Reseat or replace the video card or replace the motherboard / system board. 7 Beeps: Reseat or replace the CPU.

          This is a simple repair, just replace the CR3202 Battery on the motherboard be careful not to break the crap plastic holder whilst lifting the battery out, they are prone to degrade with heat ;-) this will fix your 5 beeps

            7 bleeps may be a "CPU fan error" signal.
