Don't think it applies for these newer sets, they use USB only for update.

Hi Tom. I am looking the bios/firmware to download as I am having that same issue. Is there another link as the above does not work?

        Thanks

        EDIT

        Never mind. It now works.

Well Sordids999 I have fixed lots of these crappy Led Tvs. As the voltage starts then collapses you have a failed Led with in the Lcd module. Tear apart the panel and get some images of the strips should be 2 strips with 22 Led in total.

Btw be very careful when taking this apart the Lcd glass is so thin meaning it cracks very easy and the front bezel is the support for it so when you remove the front bezel the Lcd isnt supported.

Yeah but your backlight is out not intermittent ? The supply briefly fires but then shuts down. I would recommend you take the panel apart first check this out:

Right so it seems the to has two faults Led and software due to the screen upside down ?
Are the LED easy to source ?

You can replace the actual bulbs they are easy enough to source from sashed screen Tvs if not you can easily substitute them.

The confusing part is that i have flashed the main board with latest firmware but still the screen is upside down so the only option i can see to correct this is a replacement main board ?

That is weird, I think there is an option to rotate the screen is the SM.

And im not convinced the LED`S are at fault if i disconnect the LED strips and measure voltages going to the strips im getting the same again voltages starting high then dropping gradually

The Voltage will rise up to high level util trip point is reached (it is constant current source so Voltage is varied to maintain constant current through the load), there is protection circuit to shut down if no load is not connected or open load condition.

                                            Hi

Im hoping someone might be able to give me some idea of what may be wrong with my Monitor Audio RSW12 Sub.

Ive owned it since new in around 2002, so would really like to keep it running if I can, it was the first ‘decent' bit of audio equipment I ever purchased and is a little sentimental.

The issue I had was that it would power up with the red light, but sometimes the green light would not come on and I would get no bass from it. If the green light did come on though, I would get sound out of it.

I have already tried replacing all of the...

Samsung plasma - flashing standby light
                                            by 7ony
The TV is a 2013 Samsung plasma, model # PN60F5300AFXZA.

Snagged it up in non-working condition a couple years ago. Previous owner said that sometimes he could get it to come on after repeated tries but other than that he couldn't get it to turn on.

Personally I haven't been able to get it to turn on at all. The standby light comes on solid when plugged in, but pressing the power button results in the standby light flashing once every 4 or so seconds. No "click" noises, no light from the panel at all. Just the flashing standby light.

                                            No visible...

                                            Hi

I have an 820-2610-A motherboard that has no green light.
I have noticed is when I do a SMC reset the light on the Magsafe blinks.
From My understanding, the sys onewire circuit is responsible for the green light on the magsafe
The sys onewire circuit on this model and others is more involved
I was hoping if anyone knows about this and how it works, can reply and let me know
I know this is an old model but I am sure there are people who still works on these or knows about them

I get 1.1v on the C7771 capacitor and will replace...

Hello, I am trying to bring back to life my Toshiba 55U7863DG, which has never been the most reliable device - keep on annoying me with its slowness and some random start-up/shutdown issues requiring to unplug the AC. But yesterday it finally said goodbye and decided to not turn on again. Green light is blinking, I've seen this behaviour before and thought that these are some temporary whims again, but unfortunately not this time.

I have checked that my TV is build based on the 17MB130S board, which seems to be quite popular and easy to buy as a used one. Still I would like to ask...
