The original inductor uses this kind of package. It is not the same thing as a ferrite bead used to filter high frequency noise though.

The inductor is a critical part of the buck converter, it cannot be replaced by a ferrite bead.

Measure on the output of the inductor not the input.

I used it on 8800 GTS G80.

GTX 260 won't be supported as it is a GT200 core, however there is some support for G9x.
