hm someone with more spare video cards than I. Really all you need is one good AGP 4x, PCI, and PCI-E. Maybe ISA, but do people actually still send you boards to repair that are ISA only?

Your problem is indicative of cap problems.

X is just the vent, metal pressed down so if it fails it doesn't explode, just leaks from the vent, afaik all capxons and nichicons have an X vent,...

the board can take up to a 2600+ tbred. I might have a 2400+ lying around I can sell you. I would have to test it first

those are either from the bad nichicon lot, or heat related, probably the former.

don't go too far lower on the ESR, ripple I think you can go as high as you want

does the northbridge fan still...

You could always get an LP sound card. Or take a regular sound card and take the bracket off, or a dremil to the plate.

2700 is 333, 3200 is 400

also, make sure your bios is flashed to A03 before upgrading the CPU

1GB DDR is not cheap, we're talking $45 a stick, relative to DDR2 2GB sticks new that can be $15,...

Well, I've decided against using a ups. After looking and look8ng, newegg had reviews of non sine wave 900w ones that would kick from 500w pfcs. And these were some of the better rated ones.

These are wd blacks with pm2 support but the adapter did not spin them up, dispite the settings I checked on the adapter had a 3sec start spin from adapter bios initialization and a 3 sec drive to...

I just read from apcs site that a cold start on a pfc psu can pull Wx1.25. So that's near 1k for this 750 :/

I think some NVMe drives are classed as scsi controllers. I think the Samsung Pro series are (unless it has bios support), though you don't get 100% performance, it's still bootable.
