Found out that IC 902 & 903 have been changed by someone, and while they are same type, pin order is different.

After rewiring, I have 8V on the one side, but 37 on the other (same as the input)

IC902 input 60V, output 24V.
IC903 input 3,8V,...

Re: flickering SAMSUNG UE46D6510WS

DonŽt know history, bought it cheaply hoping I can fix it for myself.

I did some "plugging and unplugging" live, too. Yeah, I know, but somehow I lose my nerves, and I regret it later. IŽm very...

Re: flickering SAMSUNG UE46D6510WS

I found pins that I shorted while wiggling one of the flats.

They are on the T-con side, which probably killed something on T-con,...

Re: SAMSUNG LE40B620.... clouding?

...and I have noticed that, when static image is long-time on screen (YouTube),
then silhouettes of the image (rectangles) are visible over the
new screen (cable TV) in the clouded area.

Hi everyone!

Got this TV, has on-screen black stains which look like clouds.

Is this actually a screen problem or something that could be repaired?
Screen is not cracked or anything, and...

Re: philips 32hf7875/10 blocked?

Yeah, possibly. However, I had menu unlocked when I got it. And I can still change inputs, channels, volume, and other stuff. Only since I fiddled with settings it says blocked.

Re: philips 32hf7875/10 blocked?

Did a google research.
As far as I can figure out, these SETUP remotes for Philips are simply remotes that can be SET UP for various devices (via codes)?

But someone had to stumble upon these...

Re: philips 32hf7875/10 blocked?

Re: Samsung le37s62b - have no idea what is wrong

Haven't retested voltages yet. Will do.
And I have another new chip, so I can replace this, but it just seems not likely to me that,
a) new is faulty, (I opened them from factory package)
b) fault...

Re: Samsung le37s62b - have no idea what is wrong

Replaced AS-19HG with exact new replacement.
Problem persisted, everything is as was.
Looks like MB issue after all...

Any chips worth replacing there?

Re: ASRock B75M-GL dead /water damage/

Got a new bundle, also 1155 socket.
Tested CPU in working board, no POST. Fans spin, but no POST, so I guess CPU is dead.

Just in case someone has similar issues. Will try to repair the board...

Re: ASRock B75M-GL dead /water damage/

Thanks for the heads-up.

OK, I'll keep your advice in mind. Am going to order MOSFETs, and when they arrive try to work on the board. Will make sure to post results here.

Re: ASRock B75M-GL dead /water damage/

However, if caps have survived higher V, board should be fine after replacing MOSFET, and fully working with another CPU.

Re: ASRock B75M-GL dead /water damage/

I gave it a thought and it seems obvious to me now that CPU must be dead.

12V on P4/no chopping from MOSFETs/directly to CPU/fried CPU.

No short, so no protection or anything. Correct?
