Need to replace USB 3.0 sockets on a Motherboard.
Unfortunately the most common 9 pin DIP reverse type layout for Motherboards, on small quantities and cheap price, doesn't seem to be available on...

Far from being a dead recovery.
The eMMC not only holds the firmware, among other things, but also the boot CPU code.
Without the boot CPU code the CPU won’t even boot. Therefore it cannot perform...

Yes, thanks for pointing that out!
While not trying do be overall generic, most market manufacturers allow the e-MMC interface to work with 1.7V~1.95V and 2.7V~3.6V.

Fiber optic is cheaper than any cable you can think of…!
Therefore the huge price comes from really expensive transmitters, switches and receivers capable to share the display port at UHD...

As long as you know the layout and have access to pads somewhere on the circuit board it's always the best solution because you'll avoid all the mess.
Plus 99% it doesn't have to be replaced,...

Those e-MMCs are nothing but NAND Flash Memory, either MLC or TLC, with integrated memory management (much like a uSD card if you like), JEDEC compliant.
They do behave as an e-MMC to the 'outside...

Don't know what device sits at the far end, but you might consider access / sharing thru WiFi (ac band) with a good coverage will deliver all the bandwidth you need. There are plenty software tools...

imo, if they were random and sparkly only, then it might point to the PSU;
But they form a distinct vertical path and therefore PSU caps are not the first, neither a likely, approach!

Also, to me it they appear to be just (or mainly) blue, and static (as if with memory, i.e. if the image changes they will move).
