since its a know problem with these Boards
Then Id rework the solder joints

well didnt read it all but yep why don't they last as long as they are suppose to or so short a time..probably cause they are made of junk as was pointed out,

(actually I think your reading a voltage drop across it or something..forgotten now on resistance...

yeah I dont think they have a great rep...mine has been fine so far

They do have crap caps and heat I think is another issue for them...just cause they are owned by a "real" Router Company doesn't...

I did something similar,
I think the MB may have come in both flavors too, some had all 9 later ones didn't
(think the 9 were GSC crap)

but dont know for sure just photos...

althought you already stated they are stuffed

sounds like typical stuff caps symptoms to me.

you will probably find 6V3 caps can be used
you must if you want long life out of them use quality low ESR...

If you using a capacitance range on a multimeter the only reason that comes to mind is stray capacitance.

Does it have a pre zeroing thing?

meter alway becomes part of the circuit

so yes in series
(you effectively must brake open the circuit)

As in
multimeter on current range, positive lead to most...
