WN111v2 WIFI usb stick add external antennas

Would like to add external sma connectors to usb wifi. Any experts out there?

Would this work cut the two traces as pictures and attach coaxial ground to points shown.

Guys, I finally read the contents of the bios chip with the toner completely full not usable.

I also read the chip when I only used a few pages but I don't know how reliable the bios chip read...

Problem solved, appears it was the Pot, I cleaned it and now have variable speeds..

have you tried setting you network adapter to static ip and then open web browser and type in the default ip and see if you get to main menu?

The resistor is mwntion above at 5.2 ohms
triac is Z0409MF A149

Sorry had no time to mess with unit.

Thanks Guys, the trace near the resistor was lifting so I glued it back. Once I but it back I will retest.

Remove it but didn't see any values on the resistor. It did measure 5.2 ohms with multi meter. Which one would be the triac?

Guys need your help.
I believe it got wet a bit which then cause it to only run at full speed, no longer can adjust speed.

Opened up and notice burn near resistor. I guess I need new resistor but...

I have a old EETOOLS Topmax (Parallel port) and a cheap usb programmer of ebay that only supports spi chips 25,26,27, 28xxx, 29XX chips, can't remember the name right now. maybe SPI FLASH Programmer...

I did read the chip when I go the printer new but only 4mb, because my programmer did not support 8mb chips..

sorry to go off topic, but I have a SSD drive that is detected and is only readable.

I can't delete, copy or add partitions. Any thoughts how to fix this?

I'm also think it's tiny13v and it appears it has to be programmed.

So I file this as trash can, or keep it for parts.

I took some measurements It's attach in photo.

Check for VCC on pin 8. GND is pin 4, Pin 4 does not go to ground for me.
I used continuity between one of the connectors and pin 4

I would like to save it, it was a great switch too bad I had big storm and water got into it

Also it's a learning thing for me to see how circuits work.

guys thanks for help. I do notice burn mark near TINY13V.

I looked at datasheet and it appears to be programmed chip? can I buy replacement and not have to program it?

Worked great til water damage at bottom. I reflowed with flux affected area still not working.

I then try to look for shorts, I believe I found one on smt...
