Re: ICT12012-10A Comm Series folds back under load (fixed)

Re: Dead but clicking Hanns-G HC194D?

How do you turn the power supply on? Are you forcing it, or are you plugging the main board back in? If you are turning the PSU on with the main board, I suggest you force it on without the main...

Re: Fanatec Wheel Base PCB Eyelet Replacement?

JB weld makes all kinds of epoxy including non conductive. I use it to fill in holes in boards all the time. I just find this JB weld is better than LePage. Preference I guess.

for the psu to shut down, there is a dead short somewhere. Take it apart and make another picture.

Re: Lynx RS4-2000 switch mode PSU does not start

why is that through hole resistor (bottom left) so tarnished brown? Maybe check the smt caps if one is shorted? If all fails, inject power and see what is getting hot.

Re: bn44-00264c - CCFL emulation

Not that I recommend doing this, but disabling the protection circuit on the inverter will do the trick.

Re: Samsung LCD tv shutting down randomly I might have repaired time will tell me tru

Sounds similar to one of my nt5b01 repairs. Only way to fix it was to take the inductor out clean the hole and resolder plus clean.

Re: I need a charger schematic YLT6722000

Put a higher power rated and faster diode in place of the fr207. Theoretically you could put an ultra fast recovery diode there and heat sink it. These fr whatever diodes are not the best diodes to...

Re: Vizio E400i-B2 missing stand-by voltage

Re: Philips 32PFL1335/98, no backlight

Only because you tested the LEDs in diode mode with your DMM, doesn’t mean the LEDs are good. You’d have to put some power to them and see what happens, in order to totally rule the LEDs being a...

With the psu plugged in, do you get 5VSB on the psu (your 2nd pic, very top left connector)? If not unplug the main board and see if it is there now.

Re: Samsung UN50KU6300 Leds wont stay on

Everything disconnected, besides the backlights connected to the power supply, the LEDs should turn on and stay on as long the PSU is plugged in and getting power.
