Re: TOSHIBA 48U7653DB powers up, no backlight

Re: Vizio E60u-D3. Will not come on. No Stand-By light

It's a main board issue as nomoresonys already mentioned. Pson comes from the main IC on the main board. The fact of no stby light is caused by a faulty main IC, or simply the main IC doesn't get any...

Re: Wine Enthusiast wine cooler, no power. Model # 272 03 29

We kinda knew that the rectifier is ok, because as you know the fuse would be blown. Before you put the fuse back in, check the rectifier with the psu unplugged, DMM in diode mode. 0.7 voltage drop...

Re: Samsung UN55H6300AFXZA TV - Smart TV Logo, then black screen

Well, I guess the only thing you can do is to check the lvds on the main board with an oscilloscope. Probe the lvds pairs and flick the menu on and off all the time on the remote. Does the tv stay...

Re: Samsung UN55H6300AFXZA TV - Smart TV Logo, then black screen

A bad ic could work for a short time, then quit. You may need to borrow a oscilloscope and test the lvds on the main board as well. Do the backlights stay on, when it is hung up?

Re: Samsung UN55H6300AFXZA TV - Smart TV Logo, then black screen

check the tcon. maybe unplug one side off the panel from the tcon, turn the tv on, see what happens, then the same thing on the other side. It may be that the tcon is bad too.

Re: Wine Enthusiast wine cooler, no power. Model # 272 03 29

the fuse is soldered in, you can't take it just out. If the fuse measures a short, which it does, it's good. We have to figure out where the problem is, is it on the secondary (low voltage) side, or...

Re: Yamaha RX-V3900 Powers On then Off (Protect)

Try warming PS3 with an hair dryer so the PSU is warm, not hot so you can’t touch it anymore. Turn the amp on and see if the problem presists.
