Re: Sony XBR65X850C and XBR65X850C flash copy success?

How come? Is it dead, you flashed the eeprom and still nothing is working? Can you attach a high resolution picture of your main board, so we can see what you did or tried to do?

Re: Insignia NS-50LC240A13 questions

that's where I'd be pointing too, since the main IC is probably a MSD chip. All you can do is either to replace the MSD IC or the whole main board.

Re: Insignia NS-50d40SNA14not turning on

This PSU doesn't have a PFC, so 171V on the main filter cap is correct.

Either there is a short on the 12V rail on the main board, dragging the PSU down, or there is a problem with the 12V rail on...

Re: Samsung UA40H6400AW Is it a bad T-Con Panel or Power supply?

unplugging the TV during firmware update is a big no no. You can try to update the firmware again. Try doing a factory default and set the TV's picture up again to your liking. If that isn't...

Re: Dreamlink T1 plus two green lights, need working dump

Here is a CLEAN dump of the EMMC for a Dremlink T1 plus. Warning: This is not a file to put on a USB stick! You need a programmer and copy the .bin files directly to the EMMC either with flying wires...

Re: Dreamlink T1 plus two green lights, need working dump

The original Essencore I3E-86TH2CMRE 8gb EMMC is readable as a THGBM5G5A1JBAIR on the RT809h. Just fixed another one.

The dump of the EMMC is unfortunately too big to post here. :crying:

Re: EEPROM Firmware Required: 32" RCA LED TV (RLED3216A)

I guess you have to make that dude an offer on ebay, or look for the TV rebranded. Some of the RCA rebrands are: Proscan, Apex, Westinghouse, Curtis, Seiki etc.

In the States, the same TV is made...

Re: Tools / technique for boards with eMMC repair?

It is possible to flash the EMMC with the programmer off the board and then solder the flashed EMMC to the board. I proved that. No problems.

Re: Proscan 50" PLCD5092a-b Restarting

Unfortunately the freeze the EEPROM trick doesn't work 100%. The only way to really know, is to take the EEPROM off the board, read and store the contents, then write it full with FF's. Then read or...

Re: How do I find exact replacement LED bead for this backlight strip? and will it la

No.
If you try to get a 6V LED to light up with 3V, that doesn't work. You proofed that one already yourself.

Re: How do I find exact replacement LED bead for this backlight strip? and will it la

Well, this isn't fully true, but not fully wrong either. LED's are current controlled, not voltage controlled. So when a LED fails, the other LED's in the string have to work harder and get over...

Re: Another Yamaha
