There's eeprom resets there BUT I didn't see model H on the list, usually involves: with tv unplugged, short pins 5 and 6 with a wire-plug tv in turn on for 20 seconds-turn tv off, remove wire,...

Easy little reset that might work: Disconnect the power cord from the outlet, press and hold the power button on the TV (not the remote), for at about 20 seconds. Then wait a few minutes and plug...

20 vdc, on meter black probe goes in com red probe in the one with v ma marking.

Can you post a picture of it? usually you just poke your probe down from the top a little til you hit metal, guess you could use some stripped bread ties.

Got a picture of the peeling cofs? Could try with tv unplugged from power, unhook one side of ribbon cable from tcon to panel then power up, see what you get, do same with other side again with tv...

Start with #3 below, try to do it just as instructed, as always BE VERY CAREFUL when working with powerboard, there are DEADLY voltages on HOT side.
