From my experience it is very likely AON6936. Which is written as E6936 on the mosfet.

Kindely check it and confirm the number so...

The readings are normal. And yes it is normal to flactuate when black probe is on GND. I do not suspect those line.

Simple answer is might be. But less likely.
And remember all 19v lines behind the second mosfet are connected together. So lets say one cap is sorted then all the 19v measuring spots will shows...

Just remembee. These are diode mode measures. Red probe on GND and black probe on component pin.

The short could be anyware. However, as per experiance i would suspect a capacitor is shorted before i suspect a mosfet. Although both of them are the main causes of such short...

I had similar board with similar issue. It has a 1060 6gb gpu isnt it?

From my experiance, when the power supply was plugged, the CPU temp was jumping quickly to 80C then the board was cutting...

The 533ohm is low for the 20v line. Can you compare it to the other side ... i meant what is the resistance on CB301 AND CB401..?

I was not expecting a faulty thunderbolt Ram would cuz the power to cut on 5v. Never. So this was unique. Thanks again.

I would still suspect a SHORT may be on the TB ram...

I would not suspect the thunderbolt Rams. I would still suspect the power circuit because if i am not mistaken the thunderbolt RAMs defect might affect the powering on but not the voltage value. It...

I am not sure, but it is very likely the usb 5v power controller.
It is not matching the la-e891p schematic. However, like SMDFlea suggested, a clear photo would be helpful to identify it ...

The caps are very small and the chip has excellent thermal built which will make it very difficult to solder the caps if you do not have the right tools. Such as microscope and soldering tweezer...

Did you disconnect the battery and get this 5v on the metre? If so then i would still suspect the usbc chip (the CD3215 chip) circuit.

Check the 1M ohm resistors on around all the CD3215 chips. ...
