I doubt dd-wrt will help because this sounds more like a hardware issue.

Did you replace all the caps?

Even though Linksys is owned by Cisco,it is run as a separate division/business so that means that the Linksys home/consumer products only get about 1 major revision (and some minor fixes) of code. ...
