Re: Sony CFS-B11 Radio cassette boom box

The supply to IC301 should be 7.6 volts on pin 1, Pin 18 is a 4.8v output that is switched by the ic, This output controls the base of Q303 which supplies 4.1 volts to the tuner board, that's why...

Re: Samsung PN58C550 58" Plasma PSU BN44-00331A

I suspect the bridge rectifiers are ok but you likely have a shorted modfet in either the main or pfc circuits.
There are also two MOV's VX801S and VX803S, what is the resistance across each and do...

Re: Samsung PN58C550 58" Plasma PSU BN44-00331A

The relay will NOT be the cause of the short causing the fuse to blow. The relay is just a controlled switch. Check the two bridge rectifiers for shorted diodes, then check if there is a short across...

Re: Intimidation Professional sub advice please

There likely is no protection circuit. I suspect the output mosfets could also be bad, I see what looks like a lead trimming or solder splash on the mosfet lead in the lower left of your picture.

Re: Conversion of Anolog Voltmeter into Ammeter

You would need to remove the 3k in series and then use a shunt across the movement.

As the meter is now, 3 volts gives FSD, with a resistance of 3500Ω the current through the movement is about...

Re: Bn44-00623B pfc mosfet very hot

How was QP802C shorted? was it shorted D~G ? if it was you may have damaged the gate drive components, likely a shorted diode. Also check if there is a zener diode off the IS pin of the drive ic that...

Re: Conversion of Anolog Voltmeter into Ammeter

That is battery tester and likely has an internal load resistor to load the battery to get a proper reading when testing 1.5v batteries. It likely won't move with .3v
With your current setup 12v, 8Ω...

Re: Reebok one GT40s treadmill lift motor runs at switch on

Have you re assembled the treadmill to see if it will self calibrate? Have you tried the calibration procedure for this model?

Re: Reebok one GT40s treadmill lift motor runs at switch on

If you disconnected the thread end of the actuator, is it just spinning or does it move in or out? The motor likely runs until it sees the down stop position.

Re: Graco ST MAX II 495 PC PRO , paint spray machine help

The component installed at D16 now seems to be a transistor (BCR162) any sot23-3 200ma or higher diode should work. Many circuits use a 1N4148 for this diode, so find a similar SOT23-3 (BAT54,...

Re: Turbo Start QPET 16V/25A racing charger repair

I would thiink it needs to see a battery connected before it outputs any voltage.

Re: zenith plasma Z50PX2D

Why not post a picture of the problem. it could be anything if it effects the sound as well as the picture, it could be the input source connector is loose,

Re: SMD marking 2290?

Thanks for the info, Macom has other amp ic's like this but I can't seem to figure out their part number scheme, The top number is the part number (22)

In the datasheet for the MAAM-011220, it...

What is the board from? What is the make and model? It may be a custom number.
What is wrong with the part?

Re: Thermistor specs and cross reference

I agree, 100k. According to the datasheet TTC-005 = 5Ω, TTC-101 = 100Ω etc. On the next page it seems wrong and should likely be (KΩ) TTC-102 = 1Ω? likely should be 1K so TTC-104 should be 100K
If...

Re: BAUN - UVST - 0617,Can anybody Identify these Please?

The TP4054 is a sot23-5, just look at the datasheet, the XX4054 seems to be made by may companies with a slightly different part number

After a closer look at the picture in post #10, I see CON3...

I asked if you traced out the pins to see if this is the same ic, For...

Re: BAUN - UVST - 0617,Can anybody Identify these Please?

Then is likely has to do with charging the battery, trace out the circuit as I can't tell where the traces connect to based on the picture.
There are lithium battery charge ic's like the Tp4054,...
