disconnect CN802 that goes to the main board (this will force the PS_ON and BL_ON line to go HI, if the board is OK, the backlights should turns on when you plug the TV into the AC outlet.

can you take some pictures of the tabs in question that connect to the lcd panel the ones you press and the picture goes good so we can see what were dealing with thanks

as this is a led set may also be worth testing the led strips if you have a tester etc
the 14 blink light code maybe referring to plasma not lcd

just found the specs on the invertor transformer, The secondary resistance is about 1.0K between S1 and S2(S3 and S4). The primary resistance is about 0.3 ohm between P1 and P2.

Im seeing a lot of wii consoles with accessories going cheap on facebook sale sites etc can you still make a profit on resale ? once tested the consoles etc

budm i think in post 1 picture one the 07d151k is pcb id G1 the part whats blown is G2 two totaly different parts maybe but both G on pcb id info

maybe worth a read of this thread as its the same psu and has a link too the schematic also maybe worth you checking the resistance on the invertor transformer winding's

doing a fan mod does sound a good solution may have to cut back tv casing to allow good air flow and mount a fan or two over the main bga ics

maybe if you could of found what line was short you could of injected voltage with a low amps and seen what gets hot etc it usually shows shorted smd parts etc

Have you tested all the voltage regulators on the main board as we do see these fail too on vizio models

you can buy just the leds from places like ali express you need to remove one of the old ones and measure it for size and see what anode and cathode type pads it has ...

its odd i first thought it maybe be capacitor(post 2) but when you said the board id started with a G it made me question myself as all the capacitors i can see start with board id of C so yes does...

shop jimmy do sell some leds have you got a close up of the leds used on your tv if you look on youtube you can cut up old led strips and use the stacking method

Please ignore i thought it read 1802 which is sometimes capacitor markings which would of possible made it a
18 pf capacitor but not 100% sure

have you looked at the video in post 10 that problem sounds like the one your having too so maybe worth testing the capacitors for esr etc
