Changing SPD data isnt hard and doesnt make bad ram good %99.9 of the time. You got lucky that was the problem on that stick.

I have recycled over 10,000 18650 batteries, flat tops are no better than nipple. In fact the nipple tend to be better when using then in chargers and banks. I have had 0 fires.

Random bag of ram for $5, Had a few good ones in it, 6 4gb ddr2 sodimm (rare) and 12 1gb ddr1 400 (nice for old stuff) the rest wasnt impressive but hey for $5 i cant conplain.

exactlly home users dont tend to run server operating systems and your not a VLF client or someone that would get a update just running it on a home machine. If you had oh say 1000 systems running...

68 pin was all I used when I used scsi in a pc. running on adaptec 39320 they screamed fast and we're raid host bootable which made them a dream, no drivers required.😎

I did that for awhile but when you have several 1000 batteries it's not worth the time to save 1 or 2 more. I test all the good ones to get the capacity then put them in batches. I resleve them...

I have open over 500 packs and in most cases just 2 maybe 3 cells of the 6 and 9 packs are bad, the rest are fine, so they are worth salvaging if you have a use for them.
