Have you found a way to get it to successfully perform CDDB lookups these days? I certainly haven't been able to.

Streaming an Internet radio station, hence the song. Not many stations that get through on ports 80/443. (My firewall system has nearly all Internet ports locked out.) Definitely going to install...

I'll certainly try that. And you can still watch YouTube under Windows 2000 today, if you can believe it. Serpent web browser + Windows 2000 Extended Kernel.

If I was able to resurrect the PS/2 controller and get it running again, I would restore it and clean it up. If I can't do that, I'll probably part it out and keep the case for something interesting....

17" shadowmask (Samsung CRT, IIRC, pretty solid colors and has held up well over the years) and a 17" Diamondtron CRT, which has excellent color quality. It's from a November 1999 batch of monitors...

The fan seems fine, and I gave everything a THOROUGH dusting back when I got the system in late-2018. Before, the GPU fan was a tad rumbly and the CPU heatsink was so packed with dust it ...

Nailed it! RE GPU: It ran basically 24/7 for 14 years on that GeForce4 Ti 4800SE, plus however long it was on in it's previous leases on life. It's out of service now, but I'll be putting it back in...
