Re: Swapping out a NiMh for a LiPo?

i hate those battery holders - you often hit the battery on something while trying to slide it out.
i use the type on pc's where you just drop the battery in past a latch :)

Re: ESR meter upgrades

it's assumed you have a decent crystal and a good pcb track layout.
most crystals are 20ppm or better now, and variance in smd caps is very low.

Re: Need help with 4700uf 25v replacement in subwoofer

i wouldnt bother,
your not hitting the caps with high frequency's

if you do replace them you need high ripple current handling.

Re: Any ideas Please?

but a serial port runs at +-12v
you would blow the atmel to bits unless the fact that it's a 9way D is just coincidence.
we need to see the rest of the hardware.

Re: Cleaning Off Blu Tac

WD40 is only good for spraying on rusted bolts outdoors.
and even that is probably not as good as 50/50 acetone and ATF fluid. :D

Re: ESR meter upgrades

it's a seagate - the heads are probably fucked and may have also scratched the oxide off the platters.

what model drive is it? it better not be a fucking "rosewood" series!!!

Re: Cleaning Off Blu Tac

for removing sticker glue i use white spirit - very cheap at toolstation :)
but test it on a hidden area first - it can fog some plastics and make pressed cd's explode!!!
