Thanks Goontron, I’d want X to come on for about 30 seconds or so, then shut off and the next socket Y would do the same, and continue for a total of 4 sockets.

That’s one way to look at it. The tightassity I have would like it to last longer though. Maybe go with Samsung or Toshiba and drop to 720p to keep the cost down?

Catching up on Christmas shopping, just curious if Element brand TVs could be expected to last for a few to several years. I seen a 39” model no. ELEFW3916 at Walmart for $200.

Yep, my ass is still bruised from the ass kicking I gave myself!
The blinking pattern on the fully repaired and normal working set is steady with no irregular pattern.

I have read similar where the idea is to equalize the charge difference between the ground and the air through the rods. The writer also stated these equipped buildings rarely are struck....

AFAIK this would be where to ask this.
Anyone know the real facts about lightning rods on buildings? We had a direct or very nearby hit last spring. It damaged two TVs and a surround sound system....

If you like the manual on option make sure it's listed on the box. I thought I got a good deal on some motion detect lights, they didn't have that feature, I need to take them back.

I would think put in a fast or slow 20a fuse, try running it. If it doesn't blow, check the power wires individually with an inductive amp meter.
When I see blown fuses I always want to try to find...

I was doing some adjusting and it seems to me with lowering brightness and contrast a bit, the black levels seem better to me. Also as you and Tom stated the panel didn't seem as warm either....
