Looks like you'll also need some 330K resistors. If you want exact values, order 2 capacitors, 1 5uf and 1 4uf, as well as 2 .5W 330K resistors and wire as shown.

Working fine before I ran the assessment test. Dead afterwards. All other tapes work fine.

Interesting. Maybe tapes that don't like being erased by this drive?

What happens is that when the test is executed with a working tape loaded up, it tries to erase the tape and immediately...

I inserted a brand new tape and started a Drive Self-Assessment test using the HPE Library and Tape Tools.

Used to have slow Verizon. About 20Mbps on a good day. Changed ISPs over the summer and we now get 20Mbps on a bad day, 55Mbps average, and around 65-70Mbps on a good day.
