1) Remove all power -> meter in resistance mode (lowest scale) -> check the resistance to ground of VINT20. What is the reading ? Also post the meter scale.

If the meter reports '1' or 'OL'...

So PQ8803 = battery FET.

When the power adapter is attached, the charger IC should turn OFF the n-channel mosfet (PQ8803) by lowering the gate voltage on...

Ground pin 10 of this charge IC. This, according to the datasheet will turn off the charging.

Test to see if it does.

1) each of the ISL devices from U7000 can be recirculated - they are QFN packaged devices so all you need to do is apply flux & desoldering braid to remove the excess solder off the bottom...

Not at my computer but pin #2 is towards the CPU ?

The CPU appears to be shorted. Wait on advice from others but CPU is very likely damaged from this reading.

So with U7600 removed, pin 10 on the logic board is ~1 ohms to ground ?

What is left on the logic board that is mating with pin # 10 pad of U7600 on the logic board ?

Someone is causing this...

Remove PD6001 and test to see if it makes a difference on your logic board.
