ingles and rite aid drugs both carry the battery for the peak, sold as wireless entry battery. last ones I bought were around 5.00 for two in a pack.

I have a yihua 852d+ the green wire was fused and that's safety ground in the us so I put the fuse on the white wire. mine is a 110v not 220v.

I did redo mine so the fuse is on the white wire, all ones from china have the same setup ,ground fused, as far as grounded tip the ground to case was fine.

I have a yihua 952d+ had it for over a year now and it does very well, no problems so far I use hakko tips on the wand and the tips for hot air are the ones that came with it. its probally a knockoff...

thanks for the help, got her running perfect now. yep, got 2 260's the 160 which is close to new looking. I didn't plan on using it as I have flukes and triplett dmm's but should the need arise.

they should, mine is still good with the mur1620's.wish I could have found something with the insulated case. I used silicone wafers and nylon screws to isolate the case from the heat sink.

there is no board that you can replace to fix it the screen, it has bad cof on the film going to the tab bonds or tab bonds themselves. either look for a replacement screen or part it out.

you don't have standby, look at the power board and see where the stby comes from, have you checked fuses?

when you tried the hair dryer did you heat the area where that cap was? if not try just heating that cap and see what happens.

47uf@50v is the correct value low esr cap would be permanent std would be test. you need low esr here as it may be a part of it not starting. did you find the pdf print ?
