Re: "Smart" TVs
I use a formuler z7+ stb. Couldn't care less what's on or isnt on a smart TV. The processor and ram in a smart TV is generally hopeless.

As mentioned already the fact the screen lights up then goes off would suggest the y-sustain works.
Change the cap on the buffer and see if the tv works again.

The fact the screen lights up then goes off would suggest that y-sustain is probably working but you can check and see if -VY matches the label on start up.

I've uploaded the flash for this mainboard in the eeprom thread. It'll work in this model. Same panel except NO1. Won't matter though.

Don't think this tv uses a fault code as none of it is made by sharp.
Cheap LG panel, megmeet PSB and UMC mainboard.
In other words a pile of steaming ****
These mainboards have issues...

Hkl-480201b hkl-500201b hkl-550201b psb repair
Fixed a few of these all with the same fault. TV is dead.
