You need to find out what the difference between the two panels are.

Re: T Con board question

'13Y_S120PAVLMB3C2LV0.0 ' That is blank PCB P/N, that blank board can be stuffed to make many PCB assemblies for the needed LCD panel, that is why you need to go by the PCB assembly P/N on the...

Re: Samsung UN55F6300AFXZA appears dead, stand-by present, main board suspect

Can I see closed up pictures around the connector where the A5V pins are to see where the traces go to? This is tough troubleshooting without the diagram. May be there is inductor between the In pin...

Re: Samsung 24" power supply BN44-00195A

BTW, if the inverter board is not connected to the 24V output of the power supply, does the 24V stay at 24V?

Re: Samsung UN55F6300AFXZA appears dead, stand-by present, main board suspect

I expect one of those 3 linear regulator input pin to be connected to 5V Standby.
The B5V is the switched 5V that will not be present until the PS-ON is present.
So far no luck finding the...

Re: Samsung UN46C6400RFXZA audio but no picture (pics incl).

Well the GATE pin of the 58A MOSFET should go LO for it to be on but the Max17122 is not pulling that pin low.

Re: Samsung UN46C6400RFXZA audio but no picture (pics incl).

L6 is the inductor (100 printed on top) with L6 designator.
D6 is the Diode D6.

ICD2 Pin 1 is marked by white triangle.
ICD2 Pin 3 is the GATE pin, it should change state when TV is turned on...

Re: Westinghouse LD3255VX Main Board eBay replacement.

That LCD panel uses Edge lit LED assemblies, sometime those fragile ribbon cables which go into the panel to the LED assemblies have insulation nicked so it is shorted to the chassis. You should...

Re: Antique LED tester

So are you still using the transformer in reverse?
You can also use Voltage doubler/triple/... rectifier set up on the output.
You can also stack the windings (boost setup) to get 30VAC more output.

Re: Can I use the Transformer in reverse?

If the secondary is rated for 24VAC then you are not going to put in 120V AC on that side, common sense.

What letters? It is multi-tap Variac.
You still have to worry about safety since you are not isolated from the line.

Re: Can I use the Transformer in reverse?

Sure, why not.
For example: How do think the UPS convert the 12V battery power to 120VAC?
What is transformer?

Re: Samsung UN55F6300AFXZA appears dead, stand-by present, main board suspect

BTW, those 3-pin devices (3 of them) with big metal with center pin trimmed off, can you read P/N and Voltages on all 3 pins?
