Re: components from schematics what are they and how to find matching alternatives.

Yes, the LSK3541G1ET2L-GP is a mosfet, the LTC015EMFS8T2L is a digital transistor with built in bias resistor, see DTC015E series. Both seem to be manufactured by ROHM but the mosfet might be a...

Re: Measuring TCON Voltage through fuse

If you have 12 volts on pins 3,4,5 of the white connector, you should have it on that end of the fuse, If not, either the pins of the plug are not making contact with the trace or the trace between...

Re: Yamaha RX-V581 going into protection mode

It could be that D2114 is open, It should give a reading same as D2116, If it is open it will throw the bias off.

Re: Sony KDL-55HX800 no power

Yes, resistor to ground, this will check if the 3.3 volt standby supply is providing enough current or not. If the 3.3 volts drops with the resistor in place then the standby circuit has a problem,...

4e = cmosh-4e I also see the same backlight strips with BB diodes shown instead of BA, This might be a date code as I also see a T marked on the diode

Re: Emerson LTDN42V68US Red Standby Only

I see at least one bad cap C929 and maybe C945, 2200f/25v but these are for the +12v supply. The M5v is low but that voltage is switched by V924 so check that you have +5 volts on jumper wire W914....

Re: Delippo charger voltage question

That adaptor looks like it has very poor regulation and filtering for the output. I would have thought it would have a 5 volt regulator ic for the output at least. I would not use it anything like a...

Re: Dead ATX power supply, please help.

You can just use some rtv silicon to secure it, but I would not be to concerned about its mounting since its not getting shipped around the country etc.

Re: UN60ES7150FXZA Power Board Short

I'm not sure what the spx are exactly, but they are not the problem, they are usually not connected to anything. I think they might be used during the manufacture of the board, maybe a spacer. Post...

Re: Dead Vestel 17IPS71 power board

That 17ips71-r3 schematic with R294 is drawn WRONG. R294 cannot be connected that way, if it was the ic would get aprox 390vdc on the VDD pin and the ic would get blown off the board.
The 17ips71-r4...

Re: Is this an LED problem or panel problem?

I would say it is a defective lcd panel, it may be damage from something pushing against it for a long time, if it was stored that way for example. but whatever it is, the panel will need to be...

Re: bn44-00604F No Secondary Power

You don't understand, When the mosfet shorted the source resistor went OPEN. Now ALL the 300 volts will appear at the mosfet source. R101 is connected between the mosfet SOURCE and the ic OCP pin. If...

Re: bn44-00604F No Secondary Power

If the mosfet was shorted and the sense resistor was open, then the ic is bad. When the mosfet shorts and the sense resistor goes open, then the 311vdc connects to ic101 via R104 damaging it. Maximum...

Re: Psu 12V 5A outputs 2.3V

Have you tried a small load on this power supply? like a small 12 volt lamp? it could be in burst mode due to lack of load.

That first number seems to be a "5" so I would guess it is similar to a...

Re: jvc lt-50c550 power supply problem

You need to check the voltage across EC101,2 or3 with the tv in standby (OFF) and then AGAIN with the tv turned ON. This will give an indication of the PFC circuit operation.
In the first post you...

Re: Sony KDL-55HX800 no power
