Re: BN44-00082F no backlight

Check the 4 small blue caps (C324 etc.) for cracks, if they are ok, check the transformer secondary resistance and compare the resistance between the two secondary's. The hiss may be coming from the...

Re: BN44-00082F no backlight

What equipment to you have for repairing electronics? You can't just LOOK at capacitors to determine if they are good or bad. Start by replacing, the small caps, C123 & C235. Then check the secondary...

Re: LG 29LB4510 - Backlight on no display

This is when a scope is useful, without it you are guessing, is it the main board not outputting a video signal? or is it that t-con not processing the signal?

Re: Aracde Chassis Cap Replacement Help

The cap only filters the 100 hz ripple from the bridge, so the cap you show in post #7 is fine, no need for low esr

Re: Samsung Power Supply Board BN44-00150A

I suspect the original was a UF4007 based on a similar schematic

Re: Samsung Power Supply Board BN44-00150A

DS805 is likely ok, it is across the relay coil. This is likely not the problem with the power supply. Post the problem you are having with the power supply.
Post pictures of the board, it is likely...

Re: Power supply board missing voltage

Based on the rust that is on the screws, I would check all connections that also have rust, like the transformer pins themselves, the standby supply (5v) seems to be ok, it is the other separate...

Re: Samsung UN75NU6950 no backlight but leds works when checked individually!

Check between the 2+ and 2- pins not to chassis ground. The raw supply voltage for that circuit is between the Discharge - and Discharge + points.
It looks like there are 3 drive circuits so I...

Re: Samsung UN75NU6950 no backlight but leds works when checked individually!

When you short out one led in the string, the current for that string changes, the led circuit detects that and shuts down. You don't say where you measured the 387v but I suspect your meter is being...

Re: Vizio D55un-E1, bad Q9100, C9100 & R9111, parts ordering questions

I don't have a source, it looks like the only suppliers are from China, maybe someone else has ordered from a supplier that also caries this part.

Re: LG 60LB5200 No power , completely dead

It is very likely the ic is bad, it is about the only part that would cause r33 to open.

Re: Vizio D55un-E1, bad Q9100, C9100 & R9111, parts ordering questions

I would replace the ic (get a couple) It is likely damaged internally so it won't drive the mosfet.
This type of ic usually has an internal startup cell which takes the voltage on pin4 and supplies...

Re: Vizio D55un-E1, bad Q9100, C9100 & R9111, parts ordering questions

It is very likely that U9101 is bad. When the mosfet shorted, it would have supplied over 300 volts back to the ic, through the gate circuit or most likely into the OCP/CS pin of the ic, When the...

Re: HP Z200 PSU Delta DPS-320KB-1 DEAD

R901 is a low value fusible resistor, it connects between the high voltage supply and the primary of the transformer (pin1) The other side of the primary (pin3) connects to the Drain pin of the ic's...

Re: PSLF201501B BN96-03057A Blown Capacitor

Yes the mosfet drain is connected to the tab, if the mosfet is not shorted drain to source it is likely ok. it sounds like the thermistor could be all that is wrong.

Re: Vizio D55un-E1, bad Q9100, C9100 & R9111, parts ordering questions

The resistor is a 0.33Ω 5% flameproof, that 3rd band is silver not grey. It is likely a 1watt. The last band (Black) is likely non-inductive or bifilar wound but a metal film type should work fine.

Re: BN96-03057A Blown Capacitor

NT8115 is NOT a capacitor, it is a NTC thermistor 5Ω cold. Check that QP801s is not shorted, if it is, RP819 is also likely open. Check if FS802s fuse is ok, if it is ok then that eliminates most of...
