regardless of "codes", it's pretty standard at both camping grounds and docks/marina's to just have a posts with a meter followed by a multipole breaker and then the socket.

unlikely, the heater and thermocouple are in series - the connection is welded.

you really want a bunch of 1meg or even 4meg sims.
4meg was high-end - so wont be cheap - specially if the amiga/st crowd see them!!

i seem to remember in the past we had this problem with Antec psu's and solved it by using panasonic FK series 2700uf caps.

the seller sounds familiar, i think they are probably legit.
but they arent really suitable for psu's - the esr is a bit low.

hmmm.

tcp has error correction, udp does not.
mabe you have a bad cable or a cable is running parallel to a mains cable and is picking up noise?

the space is for a soldered in cpu, forget that.
at the bottom is more interesting, 4 cache chips and 4 sockets that may allow another 4 - download a manual.
and if it supports it, get a dx4-133

interesting fact,
in europe we have connectors 63A or higher that have an extra pin that is shorter,
this pin loops back in the plug from another pin and controls a big contactor in the socket...

check the 4th fet-pair that runs the psu for the other chips.
i have one where the smaller of the pair is shorted - gonna try a replacement fet on tuesday.

it's soft metal (zinc) you can remove it with a file or a small hacksaw.
you could even snap it off with pliers but it may take a chunk of the base with it.
