you need to check the diameter yourself - probably 8mm
and check the pitch between the pins - probably 2.5mm

it would be both.
your replacing a 150v part with a 240v part.
it will last longer - but be less sensitive to spikes.

rossman has fixed that a few times on video - he uses very fine wire and puts a loop on the end to hold the bga ball

there is no magic temperature, the higher it is - the lower the life.
it's not a good idea to have fans switching up and down - find a good fixed speed.

i cant see the cap values,
but i suppose 330uf would be a good minimum.
it's what old pc supplies got away with.

look at the back of the motors, a lot have speed regulators built-in with a hole for the ajustment.

look very closely at the main smoothing caps and meter them.
diode-gone-wild had a 600w psu of similar design that had salvaged and re-sleeved high voltage caps in it.
they where even dented and...

if the ripple exeeds the cap rating you just wont get smooth power - you wont blow it up.
chinese psu's are very varied.
some are good, some are..... well lets say shit would be putting it...

sounds like a bad cap,
try using a hair dryer to narrow down which part of the board needs to be warm.

keeping in mind a 320x240 colour IPS display of similar size from china is about $8 they are...

glass fuses are glued with that brown stuff they use to hold the cap on lamp bulbs.
ceramic fuses are press-fit or they have kind-of crimped the inner edge probably by spining it between some...

i would mod the ksger buy making sure the mains earth is connected to the iron via a 1meg or 2.2meg resistor.

that way your earthed but wont get a boom if you touch a live circuit or charged...

you can get most i.c.'s from china for peanuts.
i would remove the carcase of the resistor and then meter each pad to ground and other places to look for a possible short.

put a couple of turns of wire around the live wire and hook your scope-probe to it.
you should get inductivly coupled current on the screen.
