it can be converted to led pretty cheaply, aliexpress sells kits for not much, probably ebay too.

yep, after once bitten, I started checking out their reputation real closely, it's a shame but you gotta be cautious of the new sellers, because there's so many fly by night, hit and run scammers out...

hate when that happens, well at least you learned something. a backlight tester probably would have shown the cracked screen, around 20 bucks on ebay or amazon.

yep, they don't want to give out the firmware because they just want to sell more tvs, WHEN will they realize that people are not going to just turn around and buy the same brand again. :banghead:

ok start with connector x508, put your black probe on chassis ground, red probe on each pin, just probe the top to touch the metal, check each pin in standby (tv plugged in power off) take note of...

post good clear straight on pictures of each board and one of the whole back as to see how everything is connected, use the go advanced to post pics.

not seeing an S750, where is it? if you mean D750, take it out of circuit and recheck it, it's the only one that failed the test?
