Managed to repair it. It was a faulty Controller chip IC701. Desoldered chip from a scrap board to replace chip. When tested worked straight away.
I can confirm that with mainboard connector...

Unusual because whilst it is stuck in standby not the usual clicking you normally have with this model. Red standby illumination with no response from remote or manual controls. if power turned off...

Just to close this issue. It was caused once again by corrupted software of main board 17MB95-S1. Software from Ohms on usb stick (UPG87) corrected this issue.

Polaroid P32LED13

Standby led flashes 6 times then pauses and repeats in this loop. There is no flash of the screen after each 6th flash so apparently no attempted start.
Tried chill spraying the eproms on 17mb82s...
