It's worked for a couple months so I'd say it was the dry joints. Not really sure how that caused it but it seems to have been the issue.

Btw I think the noise was because the back cover was off...

Dry joints were the issue I guess. It's working fine now.

Good to know though I'll add them to the list for next digikey order.

Well I may be back in business. Reseated the ribbon but instead of pushing it all the way in I pulled it back a smidgen and all looks good although I still get a EO F2 if I hold the off/cancel...

After soldering it came on and said cln again. Then gave a EO F2 which should mean shorted key or key tail unplugged.

I did wash it but let it dry a couple days by the heater vent. Also reseated...

Display showed it was off the second time and first time said clean. It was definitely on both times.

Resoldered and found another dry joint but washed the board so waiting on it to dry to test.

Oven broiler stuck on!!!!

Was getting ready to cook dinner and turned the oven on and the display said clean except the door didn't lock and only the broiler element came on. Nothing would turn it off so I hit the breaker....

I've not tested it. Just striped and looked de and re soldered. The little ones i replaced with panasonic? Next to the ic that is china only now. May have put a ucc on the lower right of the pic.

Full image 100% of the time but the back light flickers. It's done it since last "fix" but stops after a few seconds then.

Have a newer led hanns g that page code will shut it down if you know why...

Well re-resoldered again and no luck. Everything works just constantly flickers. No obvious bad caps or bad joints. Haven't tried a hair dryer yet

Uh oh. Been using this again and turned it off the other day and now when you turn it on the flashing doesn't stop.

If they are hooked up or active in CCC at the same time then one will kick them all. Try disabling or unhooking all but one at a time and test them. Was a hanns-g that was doing it for me. Now use it...

Try another monitor. Had a similar issue and usually my monitor would go black but would scramble sometime. New monitor fixed it.

Well all i can say is there are 3 16v 2200uf ???(thinking kze) in the back by the cable pass through and a 10v 2200uf ky in the front. First time i've not seen a bulging caps. I'll wait till it needs...

This psu has been on 24/7 for around 8-10 years in a smokers environment. Seems worth the 10-15 bucks to have it like new again.

I took a molex connector and put a female jack on it. Then made a pig tail with 2 male ends and use my pc to power my router. Was cheaper than buying a wall wart. Local radio shack had all the parts.
