LCD TV (Matsui) - Blank Screen, Inverter problem

I have a Matsui MAT15L607 Flat Screen TV with the following problem:-
TV turns on, screen lights up for 2 seconds then goes blank, sound is OK.
Picture can be seen faintly when shining a light on the screen.

I am fairly certain that this is due to a faulty Inverter board. I have also found out that the most common failure is faulty high voltage capacitors.

My problem is that I cannot find a supplier for replacement capacitors.
The inverter board is a Vestel 17IPS01-2 and the components are -
C354 - 4.7 pF, 3000 volt capacitor;
C355 & C356 - 12 pF, 3000 volt capacitors.

I'm capable of replacing these items if only I can find somewhere to buy them!

Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.

In my limited experience, the inverter transformers are the most likely failure. If and when those little high voltage caps go its usually in a spectacular fashion with a big bang and magic smoke. Digikey will have those caps, not sure where you can find them on your side of the pond though, Tom may have some in his store. You can test the transformers with a multimeter on ohms if you find one that is not like the rest you will probably have the culprit, finding replacements can be difficult though.

4.7pf (or 5pF) 3kv hard to find them in stock.

Thanks Caleb. I've got a multimeter, so I'll have a look at the transformers.

Thanks budm. I don't know if the shipping costs from America to UK would be too expensive, so I'll need to keep looking in this country.
